January 6, 2024 Global Learning: Teaching Thai in Global Contexts

This cultural experience exchange session 'Teaching Thai in Chinese Classrooms' inspired many of us to learn about the Thai language and also about Thai contemporary culture. We also learned a great deal about teaching strategies to manage the Thai classes. 

January 8, 2024 Global Learning: Lunar New Year 2024

This cultural experience exchange session offered us great insights into the Chinese culture of celebrating the new year both in China and in Thailand.  We enjoyed learning about food and why we need to have particular Chinese dishes on the new year, plus the great story of red envelope. Xīn Nián Kuài Lè! 新年快乐! Happy New Year, every one.
